Banish The Rainy Day Blues With Silver Spoons

Want to do something fun on an otherwise dreary Saturday?

silver spoons logoIndulge your senses at the final day of Silver Spoons.

Created by Christiane Tetreault of the Vandenberg House this is a great gathering  of local businesses, breweries, wineries, and various restaurants all laid out in a really cool space, District 28.

There’s great art, a silent auction, and live music in the pick-nick room.

We had a great time, the $40 ($1 each) I spent  on tickets translated into butter chicken pierogies from  Loaded Pierogi (yum!), charcuterie from Sandy Aleksander (delish as per usual), and Spam Musubi from Liko’s Hawaiian BBQ  (interesting)

Picked up tonight’s hostess gift, a bottle of sun-dried tomato bread dip from Rustichella.

At an average cost of 2 tickets per sample there were also copious amounts of beer and wine consumed. I woke up with a dull headache and don’t remember the places they were from so you’ll just have to go check it out for yourself.

Today, Saturday May 14 on ’till 11:00 pm.
